Now in the twenty second year, this popular event organised by The Perth Burns Club as Perth's celebration of St Andrew's Day, features three 40 minute topics on Scottish Life and Culture.

Commencing at 1.00pm, the event will be officially opened by Pete Wishart, MP
Chairman - Joe Giacopazzi.
The speakers are:

Sir Tom Devine
On being a Scottish Historian
Professor Emeritus Sir Tom Devine is a prominent Scottish historian renowned for his extensive research on modern Scottish history and the understanding of Scotland's social and cultural identity'

Plaidsong
Scots Poems Intae Songs O'er the Centuries
Dr Nicky Small and Syd House are the musical duo Plaidsong who draw on an age-old tradition of finding songs from Scotland's many cultural sources, adapting and re-working old tunes.

Stuart Campbell
"The Great North Road" - the unfinished novel of Robert Louis Stevenson
Stuart Campbell is a Glasgow-based author known for his novels, travelogues and contributions to literature and historical narratives. He is an acknowledged expert on the works of Robert Louis Stevenson
